PHD student seeking room near university

Hello! I’m Freddie, a PhD student from China, looking for a comfortable place to live starting mid-January. Here’s a bit about what I’m looking for and who I am as a roommate:

Location: Ideally close to the university or with convenient bus access, as I’ll have occasional on-campus work.

Budget: Up to £1000 per month, including all utilities (WiFi, water, gas, etc.).

Duration: Looking for a stay of at least 6 months, but I’m open to extending for up to 4 years.

Room Needs:
• Speedy WiFi and a clean private bathroom
• A good workspace for my research and studies

About Me:
I’m an outgoing, friendly person and enjoy meeting people from all over the world. Outside of research, I love working out, traveling, and trying new things. While I enjoy socializing, I also value a balanced environment where we can all focus on our personal projects.

Roommate Preferences:
I’m looking for clean, respectful roommates who appreciate a peaceful atmosphere but are open to friendly conversations or the occasional meal together. I love keeping shared spaces tidy and am considerate of others’ routines.
