Friendly Dutch journalist looking for a sublet

Hi!

I’m Romée (Ro-may, but will listen to Rony too) 27, Dutch, and currently living in SE London. I work as a freelance journalist and content marketer, splitting my time between writing, interviewing people and spending far too much time in coffee shops pretending to be productive.

I’m looking for a room from the end of August, ideally for 5+ months (and longer if possible). A sublet or flexible arrangement would be perfect.

I’ve been in London for a few months now and absolutely love it here. Outside work, you’ll usually find me at a gig, in a pub, exploring a new corner of the city, or convincing friends that one more pint is a sensible idea.

I’m looking for a friendly, social house where people actually chat in the kitchen from time to time, rather than just communicating through passive-aggressive WhatsApp messages. I’m tidy, considerate, easy-going, and always up for a catch-up, a pub trip, or the occasional house dinner.

Really hoping to find a place (and people) that feel like home.
