Description
Hi,
My wife and I are having building work on our house in Hove and need somewhere to stay while it is done. Ideally we will start around the beginning of Feb, but can be a bit flexible on this. We will move back home after 6 months max, but are happy to move in on a rolling basis in case it turns out to not work as a house share/lodgers.
We are both professionals who work ‘at work’ in the week. We like to cook, mainly veggie food, and are happy to share meals if desired. We are pretty quiet (in bed by 10 usually!) and don’t really drink, but like a good chat.
We have been living in our own house since 2020, so are well house trained in cleaning/airing rooms/tidying, but both did our stints in shared accommodation in our twenties and know that good flatmates/lodgers need to communicate well, give space where needed or requested, and leave spaces tidy and welcoming for everyone.
Our ideal live-in landlord or flatmates could be of any age and would be happy with us using the kitchen regularly. Dogs fine but cats less so, one of us is slightly allergic. Hove preferred so we can get back to ours to check on the build, but further afield would be fine for the right place (with bike storage).
