Description
Hey!
Thank you so much for checking out my ad. I thought I would include a wee “about me” section for anyone visiting my profile or receiving a message from me. If that is you, hello!
I am currently living in a lovely Southside flat with two amazing roommates that I actually found on SpareRoom. One of which is my live-in landlord who has been great, but they are planning to sell the flat around spring or summer and have already started preparing it for the market.
Although I am sad to be leaving my current room, I know there are plenty of lovely places out there. Since I am already based in the Southside, I would love to stay in the area, but I am open to anywhere that feels like the right fit. I work in the city centre, so I have a lot of flexibility with locations.
I am starting my search now.
I work Monday to Friday as a receptionist. My shifts are either 7:30 to 4:00 or 9:30 to 6:00. Good transport links are important to me, and living near the subway would be amazing.
Ideally, I would like to find somewhere I can stay for longer than six months. I want a home where I can truly settle, relax, and have a nice balance of laughs, chats, and quiet time.
My current flat does not have a living room. Although it has ticked so many boxes, I would really like to live somewhere with a shared social space. I enjoy hosting friends, cooking, and buying far too many spices and condiments, which I am always happy to share. I would love to live with people who enjoy the idea of shared meals or the occasional flat dinner.
I am sociable and enjoy living in a friendly and respectful environment where we can spend time together but also understand when someone needs their own space.
For hobbies, I have been learning languages and recently finished a 10-week Spanish course that I am excited to continue. I also enjoy sewing, crochet, knitting, and all the fun granny-core crafts.
This might be a bit of a ramble, but I think the more information the better when it comes to finding the right fit. My move is not immediate, but I will be active on the app and open to places that feel like a good long-term home, especially since I have a notice period of 4 weeks to serve.
I currently live in a tenement flat with high ceilings and lots of natural light. It would be amazing to find somewhere with a similar vibe, a great location, good energy, and a space that really feels like home.
I am also open to buddying up. I am always happy to grab a coffee and see if our vibes match.
Please feel free to reach out!
