LF: Queer-friendly flat in the center or up north

Hello, everyone! 👋🏽 Finally mustered the strength to advertise myself in this platform 😅😬🙈

I’m Jef, 32, from Manila, Philippines, and I’m looking for a queer-friendly flat to move into anytime after Christmas, but could be sooner. 🙏🏽🇵🇭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳ó %81£󠁴󠁿🏳️‍🌈🏠

I’m a first year international PhD student at UoE studying plants and climate change in Southeast Asia, but my research is fully based in the Botanics. A flat closer to that would be ideal, but I’m very open to farther areas given the right price and of course, flatmate/s. 🍀🌏😊

As a tropical person, I need to be out and about on weekdays while there is sunlight (especially this winter!) to maximize my productivity, whereas Saturdays are phone call days in my room with my loved ones back home. This means you probably won’t see me in the flat most of the time (my way of saying I am a very low-maintenance and a quiet flatmate) 😅 but I am always happy to chat while preparing breakfast or dinner in the kitchen. I can try to cook you adobo, sinigang, or lumpia, too, if you’re interested in Filipino cuisine (but keep your expectations low, please 😝🙈). From school cafes to fastfood restos to home, I’m a huge fan of CLAYGO, so you probably won’t see any of my rubbish either. 🧹🧼🫧

As a foreigner, I maximize Sundays for city (or even country) tours and I would definitely love to do it with flatmates who are down! Every other day I make sure to go to the gym and on Wednesdays or Fridays I go to pub with my cohorts. Looks very routinely and structured but will be happy to meet flatmates who can introduce me to other physical activities, hobbies, and random adventures! 🚉👟🪴
