Looking for a room in a social, tidy flat

Hello! My name is Lukas and I am moving to London for work in late December. I grew up outside New York in “the states” and spent summers in Germany, but have not been to London before!

I like to cook (I have been eating a pepper-ricotta pasta a lot recently) and meditate, and I enjoy quiet nights playing board games or doing a puzzle. Oh, and I really like hummus with a good carrot.

I received my bachelor’s in the spring and am now working 45-50 hours a week at a climate tech startup.

I am excited to have a room in a flat with flatmates that communicate well, is tidy, and where we occasionally cook together or watch a movie. I’d like to live in a place that is quiet, well taken care of, and near the tube, but it doesn’t need to be newly renovated. My long-term girlfriend, Nina, is starting a PhD program in chemistry next year, and we hope that she can stay with me for three weeks in January and for much of the summer – we would be happy to pitch in a little extra for rent and utilities in those months :)

I’m hoping to spend ~£700 pcm but can go up to £800 pcm, and I would like to move in between late December and mid-January. If I find a good fit, I can commit to a long-term lease.
