London: 27 yr old professional - Apr '25 move in

Hi there! I’m Henry, a Business Intelligence Developer (or Data Analyst to keep it simple) working fully remote. I've been living in Deptford for the past two years but I’m now looking for a change of scenery within London, ideally somewhere with good transport links and a bright, comfortable double room. I’d love to find a welcoming, easy-going flat to call home from April 2025. For my next place, I am looking for a double room where my budget is £1150 including bills. I’m happy to share with professionals of any age or gender.

A little about me: I’m considerate, tidy, and value good communication with the people I live with. While I’m naturally introverted and a bit shy, I’m looking for a more sociable flat share this time around. I'm very comfortable with independent living but would love to have more opportunities for bonding with my flatmates – whether it’s through the occasional movie night, games night, flat dinner, or just good chats! That said, I also value my own space and respect everyone's need for personal time.

When it comes to guests, I’m happy as long as there’s timely communication and it doesn't feel like I'm constantly having to work around them – I believe in balancing everyone’s comfort. I don’t host gatherings often, but if I do, it’s usually just my girlfriend popping over during the weekend.

Outside of work, I stay active with bouldering and hitting the gym. I love trying new adventures like scuba diving, and I unwind (or occasionally stress over haha) by playing chess or managing my Fantasy Premier League team. I’ve been a Formula 1 fan since childhood, and I play korfball (a mixed-gender ball sport – happy to explain the rules!).

I'm a proud plant parent to four leafy friends and always up for discovering new cuisines (being in London, how could I not?!). While I’ve listed plenty of active hobbies, I also have a creative side that I can tap into like painting and graphic design.
