Hi! My name is Jared, and I’m moving to London for a new job . I’m looking for a room in a flat or house share within a 20-minute commute to Holborn. Ideally, I’d love a furnished room with good natural light and housemates who are friendly and sociable.

A little about me:
* I’m a 25-year-old South African professional working in AI.
* I’ll be working in the office about two days a week and remotely the rest of the time, so a quiet space to work is important to me.
* My work keeps me busy during the weekdays, but in my free time, I enjoy music, watching movies, reading, and staying active. I’m also a big fan of football and love going to the pub to catch a match!
* I’m tidy, respectful, and easygoing—I like my own space but also enjoy being sociable with my flatmates, whether that’s having a chat, sharing a meal, or watching a movie together.

What I’m looking for:
* A double room in a flat or house share with friendly, respectful housemates.
* My budget is around £1,200/month, but I’m willing to stretch it a bit for the perfect place.
* Ideally, I’d prefer to live with professionals or postgraduates who value keeping the space clean and organised.
* Bonus points if there’s room for a desk, as I’ll be regularly working from home.
