Hi there! I'm James (he/they) 🌱

A friendly, quirky human (definitely not an alien 👽), vegan, queer, and proudly AuDHD, looking for a warm and welcoming place to call home in Bristol. I’m 32, full of big feelings, and ready to embrace life in a city where I can feel connected and comfortable.

What I’m looking for:

A clean, vegan/queer-friendly household where I can feel safe and at ease.
A medium-to-spacious room (I have my own mattress, so no bed needed!)
A decent-sized kitchen with plenty of cupboard space—I’m an aspiring chef who practically lives in the kitchen.

What you get if you live with me:

Kombucha, free meals, and cake (yes, cake!).
A roommate who comes with cool kitchen gadgets like a food processor, air fryer, and dehydrator.
Good vibes, lots of care, and the occasional “you good?” check-in.
Bonus points if you have a pet for me to lovingly bother—or if you’re open to pets in the future. That said, no pet isn’t a dealbreaker!

A little about me:

I’m a hippie-punk hybrid who loves hiking, climbing, photography, cooking, gaming, and cycling. I’m pretty approachable, but I’ll let you know if I’m having a low-social-battery moment.

I’m currently in Southampton, but I’m feeling disconnected here and am eager to move to a place where I can truly thrive.
I’m unemployed at the moment (previously a mental health worker), but I have stable income, can also provide a guarantor to provide extra level of security, but I plan to find part-time work in Bristol when I arrive.
If you have leads on fun and unique jobs—vegan cheffing/baking, brewery gigs, mental health roles—I’m all ears!

Practical details:
Looking to move in earliest April (I need to give notice here first).
Happy to travel to view places in February.
