I am interested in the Homeshare opportunity with the elderly lady seeking companionship and support. I believe my background, experiences, and personality make me an ideal match for this role.

About me:
I am Dr. Salini Raani, a GMC-registered Medical Doctor currently working at Great Ormond Street hospital for Children NHS Trust and I am looking for accommodation around Zone 1, preferably around Russell Square , King's Cross, Holborn, Farrington, HIghbury & Islington , Angel, Caledonian Road or Camden Road.

I am dedicated to my career but equally passionate about helping and caring for others.

I am a friendly, cheerful, and reliable person with a positive and mature outlook on life. My previous experience as a Care Worker with HomeDot Care, where I support elderly clients, has enriched my compassion and understanding of the needs of older adults.

My background as a medical professional equips me with a deep sense of empathy and responsibility, ensuring that I provide not just help but genuine companionship.

Relevant Experience
Since June 2024, I had been living in a Homeshare arrangement with Support Match Homeshare Agency. During this time, I lived with a lovely 93-year-old lady who has become like family to me. Our relationship was built on shared dinners, meaningful conversations, and mutual respect. I would help with shopping, light cleaning, and preparing meals, including Indian cuisine, which she enjoyed. We also shared an appreciation for gospel music and spent time watching her favorite TV shows together.

Unfortunately, due to her recent health changes, her family decided it would be best for her to move to a care home where she could receive 24/7 care. I still visit her regularly, and we have maintained a strong bond. Her family and I have mutually agreed to end our Homeshare contract.

This experience has taught me the value of companionship and the importance of creating a supportive, warm environment.

Shared Interests and Availability
I am passionate about music, gardening, and meaningful conversations. I love reading and enjoy learning from others' experiences. My work schedule allows me to be home in the evenings and overnight mostly, ensuring a reassuring presence.

I am also a decent cook, particularly with Indian cuisine, but can easily follow recipes for other dishes. I am happy to help with some light cleaning, and other practical tasks as needed.

Why I Am Interested in Homesharing
I genuinely believe in the value of shared living, where both parties benefit from companionship and support. My previous Homeshare experience has been enriching, and I am keen to continue this journey with a new family.
