Looking 1st Jun Jul Aug Sep, alone or in group

I'm Emanuel, and I'm looking for flats around old town, bruntsfield, meadows, newington, abbeyhill, etc.

I'm a 26 year old PhD student in mathematics in Edinburgh, so I work at the Bayes centre on most weekdays, but I go to the Kings buildings as well. I'm new to Edinburgh (studied ungergrad in Heidelberg, Germany) so I love to travel around and check out the city in my free time! I love to play sports, especially Tennis in the meadows and Football at Peffermill! Sometimes I play badminton, feel free to join 😃. I play piano and sometimes I like to go to concerts (usually look for tickets to classical stuff in Usher hall).

I speak German (and a bit of Tagalog) as I'm half German/Filipino.

I'm also posting an ad as part of a group of 3 first year maths phd students in Edinburgh, all guys in our mid-20s, who are looking to take over a flatshare in Newington, Marchmont, Morningside, Tollcross, Fountainbridge, Stockbridge, Polwarth and any other related areas. We are thinking to move around the end of August/start of September, which I know is a hectic time, so I thought to ask earlier here. Our budgets would be £650-£750 per month before bills (but are willing to pay more for something nice!), and we're looking for something with a lot of natural light, and a roomy kitchen/living room, beds and furnishings would be very appreciated. We'd want to stay for at least 2-3 years.

We are willing to take over an existing flatshare, or join an existing one where some people are moving out around September. However, we don't have to all move in together, and are alright with splitting into different flatshares, some of us also don't mind moving in earlier than September!

We are a very sociable and friendly bunch, apart from work, we love to go on hikes, play sports (tennis, football, running), play games, watch movies, and keep pretty clean and tidy :D
