Looking for a double room or flat

I’m 35 years old and I work full time as a Management Operative, After a long career working in Construction and Maintenance.

I’m currently on the lookout for 1 like minded person to buddy up and find a cosy flat together or house, not just a place to stay but somewhere that feels like home.

Also I’m open to the idea of a double room, even better if it has an en-suite,
but I would like a place to feel more like a home rather than just a room to sleep in.
And a home I can feel comfortable using the kitchen and occasionally sitting in the living room watching Tv or a good series.

I’m looking for a relaxed, respectful living space where everyone values their own downtime and privacy, but also enjoys the occasional chat, hangout, or a drink after work.

A bit about me:

Be great to feel more like a home instead of just a place to stay.

3) Love to play golf, a hobby I picked up few years ago and I’m currently a member at a golf club in Essex. I’m not posh privileged don’t worry 😂 I’m working class polite and like banter.

4) I’m not a party animal, I’m 35 now and prefer a night in or going out for dinner and drinks.
I do like a night at Top Golf, drinks, food and smashing golf balls 😂.

5) I like to watch Tv, a good quality series and films, I have a PS5 but rarely play it now.

It’s awkward writing about yourself but wanted to help give you an idea about me.

The only reason I’m using Spareroom,
is because renting a 1 bedroom flat or house on your own now days, is extremely expensive and a complete joke, it’s near enough impossible without a partner.

My plan is to search for a flat via RightMove/Zoopla, ideally “built for renters” properties, which are often furnished, well-located, and good value when split between 2 people.

The location Ideally around Loughton, Theydon Bois, Epping.
