Young professional moving for work

Hello! I am new to Edinburgh, have just started a new job based at Edinburgh University and I am URGENTLY looking for a room within walking distance or with very good transport links to Infirmary Street. I am looking for a long term rental but also open to short term. I am British-Australian, 25 years old, I studied Ancient History and English at St Andrews, and I am now working in academic publishing. I am a pescatarian, but don't mind sharing with meat-eaters. I don't smoke, and I’m not a big drinker, but I do love a social evening at the pub with a cocktail or a fruity cider. I love pets but don't have any of my own. I am into films, books, music, and history. I also love the outdoors especially a walk on the beach looking for sea-glass. My job is full time (mon-fri, 9-5) with the option of working from home three days a week. Because I am new to the city I would love to make new friends, and be social with my flatmates, but I am also happy in my own company and respectful of your space. I am looking for a safe, cozy space to call home with friendly flatmates, either all female or a mixed household (not just guys). If you keep the house pretty clean, always sort the recycling, are happy to have a chat over a cuppa, and a movie night in every now and then, and are willing to show me where the best pubs and cafes are, we’d be a great fit. My perfect flatshare would be less than 30 min commute by public transport or walking from Edinburgh University, not far from a supermarket, on a quiet street with some greenery nearby. I’d like a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and oven, as well as plenty of kitchen storage (I own many mugs). In an ideal world I wouldn’t want to share a bathroom with more than two other girls, but flexible on this. My dream bedroom would be a furnished or semi-furnished double bedroom, with a comfy bed, plenty of storage, bright natural light (and good curtains) fast wifi, double-glazing/warm, with minimal street noise. A major dealbreaker for me is any house with damp and mould, as it affects my health. I would prefer somewhere with bills included, but I am flexible on this, depending on the price. I would prefer to live with no more than 3 other people, but also flexible on this for the right place. Being in an LGBTQ+friendly house would also be good! I bring the ability to bake great brownies, good vibes, fun facts and many books and vinyls to a house share. I can also provide good flatmate/friend references from my last two homes!
