Short-term contracts in and around Manchester

I am looking for a relatively short-term contract to find my feet in Manchester. I recently moved on short term contract which ends soon, and would love to find another room in a similarly chill and friendly house/area.

Though I'm not searching for any area in Manchester exclusively, I have a few in mind, in particular somewhere near Stockport (where I work) or with good tram/bus links to Stockport.

A bit about me - I'm 25 and a graphic designer. Currently working, mostly in-office but around once a week remotely, so would also need a desk (or space to put one). I am friendly and fairly reserved, and especially now that I've moved to a new city, eager to explore it, meet new people and try new things. So far I've been doing things like Spanish nights, LGBT groups, board games, rock climbing, in addition to my other interests in football and reading.

Hoping for a house/flat share with similarly sociable, laid back and tidy people, male or female, somewhere roughly around my age.

I am aiming to move in soon – hopefully this side of Christmas.
