Looking for a double room in East London

I’m a PhD researcher at UCL and I am looking for a quiet double room where I can settle for long period of time, and preferably have enough space to do yoga in the room.

I have background in Architecture and Biology and have 4 years of work experience in academia and in an architecture office. My current doctoral position is paid of salary, but I am in a student visa till 2029. I am exempt from council tax (due to registered as student) and can make sure of monthly payment of rent.

I have shared houses with a family who has a baby ( the room became unavailable due to the little one needing more soace, I lived there for 4years) and an elderly landlord(65+, room became unavailable due to the sudden news that the properly has to be sold), and so am very adaptable to variously types of houses.

I do not smoke and am mildly allergic to cats.
I have some green plants and would like to put them in sufficient sunlight.
I have a bike and I want a place to store it dry. It would be ideal to have enough storage space in the kitchen.

I cook often, usually mainly on the weekends for meal preparation for the coming week. But I am a very tidy and responsible person and won’t leave a mess behind!

I can fluently communicate in English, Mandarine Chinese and Japanese.
