Description
Hello! I'm Elina (25), and I'm moving to London for my PhD in Environmental Economics. I'm looking for a room in a community-oriented flat!
I enjoy cooking (everything from Indian, Ottolenghi, to German dishes, and I like cooking for more people than just myself), I'm vegetarian, I go running and bouldering, like sitting together in the kitchen for a chat, love plants and cycling (even though I'm still missing a road bike here in England), and I'm a warm-hearted, relaxed flatmate. I also enjoy hiking, often just for a day on the weekend, and I'm enthusiastic about many sports and artistic activities.
In the past, I've lived in very community-focused flatshares and would love something similar again. I'd enjoy sharing groceries, cooking together, doing sports or other activities together, and creating a real home where you're happy to come back to and see others, but can also spend a quiet evening alone sometimes.
Of course, I'm also aware of the reality of the London housing market and am open to other living arrangements. I have around £1000 per month available for a room and am particularly looking in cycling distance to LSE (about 30 min by bike?).
I'd be really happy if you could get in touch if you think I might be a good fit for your flat!
