One Man and His Dog Seek Room

I and my dog looking for a room in calm and kind flat in London.

I’m James. I’m 30, I grew up variously in Perthshire, Argyll and the west coast and now live in Finchley. I’m interested in literature and photography and visual arts generally. I like to exercise, watch films, and hang out in and out the house. I’m from the countryside and have an abiding love for the outdoors and quieter places.

I come with Dusk, an eleven year old collie. She was my mum’s dog — now I look after her. She’s more or less my sister.

Dusk is extremely well behaved, friendly, good natured and generally a joy to live with. She is very, very quiet and totally house trained. If you like dogs , you’ll love her.

We are currently in a lodging with a brilliant family in North London. Unfortunately, we are very near a fire station and major hospitals. Poor Dusk has a phobia of sirens, and I'm worried for her wellbeing, so we're casting the net for a change of scene. Ideally, we're looking for somewhere with decent green space nearby, away from major roads, and with people who would love and cherish a dog about the place.

We're very much open to studios and solo living arrangements too.
