Looking for a Room & Roomies to Call Home

Hi! I’m Martina, I'm a 32-year-old Italian professional, recently relocated from Milan to London for work. I’m a Financial Senior Consultant working in the City, and I’ll be based here long-term on a Skilled Worker Visa sponsored by my company.
I absolutely love London and already know it quite well but after years of visiting as a guest, I finally have the chance to live here for real, and I’m so excited!
I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment from mid-June or early July. Angel and Islington are among my favourite areas and they’d be ideal for my daily commute to Liverpool Street/Moorgate, but I'm quite flexible.
A little bit about me: I’ve experience in flat sharing in various cities (Milan, Madrid, NYC) and really enjoy building a cozy, respectful, and friendly home environment.
I’m clean, positive, and easygoing: I love chatting after work or sharing a glass of wine or beer (I'm studying to become a certified Wine Sommelier - just for fun!), but I also appreciate personal space and quiet time.
I love cooking, discovering new restaurants (I’m a proper foodie!), going to museums, cinema, theatre, and art exhibitions. I enjoy staying active - I’ve recently picked up tennis again, I go to the gym, I love hiking, and I’m always up for a weekend escape to the countryside or the coast.
I’m a curious and multifaceted person with lots of interests. Besides Italian and English, I also speak Spanish and a bit of French - my dad is half French.
