I am looking for a large double room ensuite to let, preferably with storage space (I have a lot of personal belongings), all utilities and council tax included, preferably in Llanelli town, or within 5 miles of it.
I am 52 years old, newly divorced and starting over from scratch, and living with an autoimmune condition which affects my mobility and energy levels. I am able to walk, but with pain and some difficulty, I'm looking for a quiet place without a lot of activity or visitors, to heal.
I enjoy heirloom tomato and vegetable gardening (I trial known open pollinated varieties, breed new ones, and provide plants & seeds for schools and community allotment projects), volunteering, learning, culinary arts, popular culture, homesteading, history, nature, crafting, old movies, and researching/picking antiques.
I have two clean, well looked after, well behaved, spayed and neutered, flea free, chipped and registered, fully housebroken, indoors only cats. My cats are my children, and their needs come first. They are not happy in the place I am in, and this is my main reason for seeking new lodging.
I'm quiet, tidy, organised, laid back, entrepreneurially oriented, and very house-minded.
I don't smoke, but I am a vaper - and I can do that outside! I am respectful with my habit.
I am currently living as a lodger, in a (sadly) unsuitable situation. I have excellent standing with my current landlord, but we have completely different lifestyles which overlap poorly. We are both in agreement that there are difficulties with this arrangement, so I have elected to find something else.
As for my income, I am receiving the UC housing element, while I wait for divorce settlement, educate myself through online courses, and gain employment skills that will ensure future stability.
I would be happy to work off part of my rent, as a personal assistant, housekeeper, gardener, pet minder, or cook. I have much experience in all. I plan to start my own business and continue my community projects, once I have gotten myself stable.
I have many personal and professional references available, reference available from my current landlord, and I have two valid DBSes from my volunteering positions.
I'd love nothing more than to have a landlady, my age or older, who also likes vegetable gardening, cottagecore, and eclectic maximalist décor.
