24 Year-Old Masters Student Looking for a Room

Hi there!

I'm Renzo, a 24-year-old Spanish student, moving to Edinburgh this August/September to start my MSc in Astrobiology at the University of Edinburgh — and I couldn't be more excited!
I’ve already spent a few years in the UK (did my undergrad in Leicester) and during this time I spent a couple of days in Edinburgh and completely fell in love with the city, although there’s a lot more to explore for me!

A little about me:
• I’m super into sports and outdoor activities, love staying active and exploring nature, but I am also a big fan of indoor plans like movie or game nights, whether its board games or video games (extra point for Mario Kart Wii).
• That said, my studies always come first, and I’m really passionate about science and space.
• I’m very social and easygoing – always up for a chat over coffee or the occasional drink (would love to explore all the cool pubs).
• I absolutely love cooking (and I'm tidy in the kitchen!), especially when there's good company around.
• I am 101% pet friendly and I don’t smoke.

What I’m looking for:
• A room in a friendly, sociable flat where flatmates enjoy hanging out but also respect each other’s space and privacy.
• Ideally close to the University of Edinburgh campus — walking or biking distance, or a short bus ride away.
• Budget: around £600/month or less but I will always be flexible about this.
• Move-in mid to late August/early September 2025.
• Planning to stay for 12 months, until the end of my Masters in September 2026.

I don’t mind sharing a bathroom at all (I am also very tidy and value other people with a similar philosophy). Love sharing a kitchen space or living room, in fact, I like the idea of socialising over shared spaces and making the flat feel like home.
