UoE Postgrad Needs Cat Friendly Room/Flat ASAP

Hi all!

I moved from from Chicago to Edinburgh for my MSc in Comparative Public Policy just over a month ago, after just completing my Bachelor's as a triple major in Political Science, Asian Studies, and Japanese. I'll be taking my cat Kiki, who is my emotional support animal- I know that ESAs aren't a thing in the UK, but it's very important to me that we have a cat-friendly flatmate :) I'm moving from my old uni accommodation due to safety issues and overall welfare decline.

I am somewhat of an ambivert- I very much value my private space for relaxing and downtime, but also love to go out, host movie nights, and be outgoing. Besides pub quizzes and bookstore visits, I hope to do a ton of weekend hikes, as well as try all sorts of cafés. I'm happy to curl up with a good historical fiction novel as well.

Non-negotiables:
-Cat-friendly (if you have a pet, I don't mind as long as you can be sure that they won't harm my cat/will stay in your space; this can be discussed later if needed!)

-Good communicator(Some days I need a quiet space; other days you could throw a whole house party if you wanted; I just need a good line of communication!)

-Non or casual smoker (meaning, the smoke won't follow you home)
