Description

Hey! I'm Amy, 28, and from New Zealand NZ. I'm looking for a perfect long-term flatshare in London! I'm a librarian who is about to start a 6 month contract (with high possibility to become permanent). So I'm looking for somewhere for at least 6 months (to March '26) and probably longer.
I'll share what I'm looking for, then a bit about me.
💷 The budget is £800-1200 including bills (or bills exl but would add up to these limits).
🚇 Close to public transport, either on the Northern Line or can get to Old Street Station within 30-ish minutes
📍Open to different locations but ideally in zones 1-2
🥖 Walking distance (up to 15 mins) to a reasonable sized supermarket (no express/local)
🔑 In a safe and ✨️reasonably✨️ quiet area
👱♀️ Preferably an all girls flat, open to mixed. Would love flatmate/s I get along well with, social but also peaceful
🍽 Enough space in the fridge/freezer/pantry for all flatmates food e. g. 1-2 shelves each
💻 Must be okay with me WFH 2 days a week (mon/fri). Happy to live with others who do the same. I'd prefer a room big enough for a desk so I can work from there.
🕘 Would prefer other 9-5/day workers over shift workers, just so we both don't have to tiptoe around each other's sleeping patterns
🔥 House needs to be warm! We're going into the colder months so a non-draughty home with a heat source is important - a place that gets some sun would also be great
Bonus points for a garden/outdoor space 🌻and/or en suite but not essential. I'm very happy to live with cats if you have them.
Now a bit about me:
As said before, I'll be initially starting a 6 month contract so renting will initially be for that period.
I moved to London to explore, both around London/the UK and also some of the rest of Europe. If you're new to London too or just want someone to go exploring with - I would love if you came! I love the free museums, any parks or green spaces (I love the cemeteries here), or just interesting pop ups around London. Would like to go to some holiday events as well.
If you think you have the perfect flat then reach out. All flats will need to be viewed in person, as I'll be working I'll be available after business hours and on weekends 😊
