Do you have rooms on the ground floor, studios or apartments please as currently in a wheelchair after having leg amputated, my referral has been sent to have my leg fitted so potentially 6-8 weeks I’ll be walking. I’m supposed to be in supported accommodation but it’s not wheelchair friendly and I cart even shower. My chair won’t fit in the toilet and there’s steps all over the place. I’ve not long moved to Birmingham with the intention of having that support network around me internally but that’s not happening either. I’m in receipt of PIP and universal credit. I haven’t left my room in 8 days and counting. I need somewhere where I’m able to get around and get out so if you can possibly help please. I do suffer with mental health problems and am a type 1 diabetic. I’ve worked in construction for one 26 years and I’m 45 years old. The hostel I’m in is absolute dyer, the noise is unbearable as very young residents up until 3-5am with banging. I’ve asked for these issues to be addressed but nothing is happening. I’m very considerate, thoughtful, mindful, quiet with morals, manners and respect. Please help me. Anywhere in Birmingham
