Moving to Manchester to start a new job.

I am starting a new job on July 30th. I am from Portsmouth on the south coast and have never lived in the north before. I am very excited about moving to a new location, making new friends, and continuing my career in Sports Journalism.

I am looking for a short-term option to move into, up until the 15th of November, when I will be travelling to Australia for 2 months for a work project. I plan to look for somewhere long-term when I get back to Manchester.

I am a quiet and considerate housemate who is also up for chatting, playing games, watching TV, or going out. I work very hard and dedicate time to personal projects, writing, and reading.

I am very active, so I will often be out in the evenings and weekends at the gym, playing sports, running, or going for hikes.

I love cooking and enjoy making food for others. If you're house ever shares meals together, count me in!

I have a girlfriend who isn't moving to Manchester until the new year, so I'd appreciate it if she could stay for a night or two every so often when visiting me, please. She is also very friendly and considerate.
