Trans Femme Looking for Queer Sanctuary

Hi! I’m Jo (she/her), a 27-year-old trans femme relocating to London around August 20 on the Youth Mobility Scheme from South Korea. I’m planning to begin medical transition soon after I arrive, so I’m hoping to find a queer-affirming home where I can feel safe and supported in my new journey, ideally with flatmates who are trans, gender-expansive, or queer as well.

Before moving back to Korea for mandatory military sevice, I studied theatre and film in LA and New York. I recently played Romeo in an English-language production in Seoul. While I’m currently taking a break from acting, I’d love to explore the local arts/theatre scene.

I’m into cycling, swimming, and running in the park but I also cherish quiet evenings with a glass of wine, a good book, or a movie. I enjoy cooking when I’ve got the headspace, and I try to be respectful in shared spaces.

Due to the nature of my visa, I can start working actively once I arrive, but I’m already applying for positions. My budget is around £900 PCM, ideally in Zones 1–3, but I’m flexible for the right space and people.
