PhD Candidate Relocating and Looking for a Room

Hiya, I'm Kishauna. I'm starting a PhD in Women's Health with the University of Manchester in late September/early October, and I'm looking for a place to stay from then; at least 3 months to a year would be a steady period.

I'm originally from Jamaica, but I have lived in Glasgow, Scotland, for approximately 3 years. I’m more of an introvert - I love being in my own space playing my music, and I know how to have a good time alone. However, once I'm comfortable with you, I can be real chatty and outgoing. I really enjoy going out with friends for a drink/dance, and I'm always up for a nice dinner. Clubbing, concerts, festivals, and theatre shows are also really high on my list, but partying excessively is not for me, so cosy nights in are a must. I also love going out for city and nature days out as well as trying new hobbies.

I prefer a double room, preferably with its own bathroom/ensuite. I'm a non-smoker and extremely big on cleanliness, being considerate of each other's spaces, and being able to communicate honestly and openly without judgement or disrespect. My budget is £650 without bills. I would ideally like to live with other mature students or professionals who are open to being friends and building a comfortable home.
