Rooms wanted – Short-term (3–4 Months from Sep)

Hi everyone!

My friend and I (two female international postgrads but completing our programmes soon) are looking for two rooms in Durham starting from September for a short-term stay (3–4 months) while we explore more of the UK before heading home.

What we are looking for:

Move-in: September 2026 onwards

Duration: Short-term let (around 3 to 4 months)

Budget: Up to £550/month per room (bills included preferred)

Room types: Open to single or double beds; shared bathroom or en-suite

Payment: Happy to pay a deposit but monthly rent payment preferred

Location: Within Durham, within easy reach / walking distance or a short bus ride to the university area and city centre

About us:

We are responsible, clean, tidy, and quiet tenants who respect communal spaces. We’ll be busy exploring and writing up final bits, so we are low-maintenance, reliable tenants!

Additional Interest:

We also have a few friends looking for very short-term temporary stays (around 1 month). If you are a landlord, main tenant, or property owner with multiple short-term rooms available, please let us know as well!
