Looking for an En-Suite Room – 29 July to 31 Octob

Hello,
My name is Giulia, and I am a visiting PhD student from the University of Parma (Italy). I will be in Edinburgh for three months (29 July – 31 October 2025) for a research stay at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on writing my doctoral thesis.

What I’m looking for:

A quiet, comfortable single room, ideally with an en-suite bathroom.

Within 30 minutes walking distance or up to 40–45 minutes by public transport to the University of Edinburgh South Bridge campus (EH8 9YL)

A calm and friendly home environment, suitable for focused study

I will arrive in Edinburgh on 29 July, but I am flexible and can wait to move in until 10 August at the latest if the room is not immediately available

Who I’d like to live with:
I would be happy to share with respectful and friendly flatmates (preferebly females) who value a peaceful atmosphere but are also open to occasional conversation and social moments.

What to expect living with me:
I am a considerate and easy-going person. Most of my time will be dedicated to research and writing my thesis, so I spend a lot of time working quietly. I am sociable and enjoy a positive, respectful living environment, but I also appreciate privacy and tranquillity.
