Description
Want to swerve the nightmare of sharing with random strangers? Want more than just one room to live your life in? Looking for somewhere that feels a bit more like home?
We’re on the same page.
After searching the rental market, I’ve come up with a plan: rent a 2/3-bedroom house with one other person - ideally somewhere with a garden, living room, dining room and, revolutionary concept in this post-capitalist waste land, an actual spare room.
I work remotely, so I’d need to have a desk somewhere in the house, whether that’s in the spare room or a shared living space. I do sometimes work from a coworking space too, so I’m not permanently glued to the house.
A bit about me: I’m pretty active - cycling, hiking etc and generally trying to make the most of being outside - but I’m equally happy with an evening in the pub, going to a gig or just hanging out at home. Working remotely means I try to get away at least one weekend a month, and I’m usually out of the house most evenings anyway.
The idea is to find someone who wants a proper home rather than just a room in a house, and who’s up for having a good living situation with the person they share with.
Sound like a plan? Get in touch and we can grab a coffee.
Spareroom won't let me post examples of houses I want to view so please drop me a message!
