I'm Matt, 34 and currently living in Devon. I worked as a freelancer in the music industry for 10 years until COVID brought everything crashing down. I am looking to kick start my business once again when I relocate to Yorkshire.
During the years of lockdowns and until now, I took on contract employment in order to save enough money to travel the entirety of Europe. My 2 month trip in May and June 2025 concluded my time in Europe - having successfully travelled to every Schengen and non Schengen country.
My free time also enabled me to spend precious time helping to care for my late Grandmother.
I'm single, have no ties or commitments and it's time to have a fresh start. The friendliness and diversity of Yorkshire has always drawn me in and I can't wait to make the move.
I have lived in shared accommodation throughout my time travelling in Europe and also in a flat share for 10 years in West London until my previous live-in landlord's sudden death in 2019.
I will be visiting Yorkshire in October to view house shares and hopefully, choose my new place to call home.
