Looking for a room or a flat in West End/Southside

Hi everyone :)

My name is Sama and I am a 29 years old PhD student at UoE. I am Palestinian, born and raised in Berlin, and I work on decolonial spatial practices in Palestine. Next to my PhD, I also work part-time with an organisation that provides free legal support for Palestinians and allies across Europe facing repression for speaking out on Palestine.

I just moved to Glasgow in November but unfortunately will have to leave my current flat at the end of April as our landlady has decided to sell the place, so I'm now looking for a room or a flat starting 1st May, ideally in West End or Southside :) If more than one room is getting available in your flat, please feel free to reach out as my current amazing flatmate is also on the lookout!

I have lived in flatshares of different sizes for the past 10 years, and I’ve always loved creating a home together. I love plants, music, languages - cooking for one another, cozy hangouts or bar nights, exploring flea markets and cultural events. A sense of community and solidarity are key. Growing up, I used to share a room with my two sisters so definitely value sharing and respecting each other's space too!

My budget is max 700 pounds including bills.
