Somewhere i can see my children

I am a clinical specialist that trains vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists.
I work from home one day a week but the other 4 days I'm out across the whole south of the UK, and take my children out all day until the evening on weekends. With work, depending on where I am, I may stay away in hotels to train surgeons or attend conferences etc so this makes setting my children even harder.
As I currently live apart from my children at my best friends house, I'm staying in his daughters room while she sleeps with him (she she's over so not permanent) so not an ideal situation for anyone. Because of this, I can't have mine stay over as the room is too small so would really appreciate someone affording me the ability to have my children stay with me once or twice a week.
At present I just can't afford anymore while paying the mortgage and bills in my house where the ex is staying.
I really miss taking them to school and they are extremely well behaved for me and they listen without fail.
I know it's a big ask but I hope someone out there will be able to sympathise and understand my plight and allow this arrangement.
