Description
I am currently finishing my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Kent, and I will be graduating in September. My student accommodation ends on 5 September, so I am looking for a new flat or flatmate from then onwards. I’d preferably like to live in Canterbury, but I’m also open to nearby areas in Kent.
Although I am still in the process of securing a full-time job, I am financially supported by my family until I do, so I can reliably cover rent and bills. I am also happy to provide references to support this, including references from my current accommodation, my current flatmates, my friends, and my boss. These can help confirm that I am responsible, trustworthy, respectful, and able to manage my commitments properly.
I am looking for a home with flatmates who are clean, responsible, and considerate. Keeping shared spaces tidy is very important to me, especially the kitchen. I always believe in cleaning up after yourself properly, including leaving no food in the sink, keeping stoves clean, wiping down kitchen surfaces, and making sure common areas are left neat for everyone else. If we end up sharing a bathroom, I would expect the same standard there too, such as no hair left in the shower or sink and everyone making sure the space is kept clean and pleasant to use. I do not want to be in a situation where I am regularly doing other people’s share of the cleaning, so equal division of chores and shared responsibility are very important to me.
I am a tidy, quiet, respectful, easy to talk to, and sociable person, and I enjoy living with people who are considerate and reliable. Ideally, I would prefer not to share a bathroom and would rather live in a smaller household of no more than four people.
