Hi there,
My name is Samara Fathulla Mustapha, I’m 24 years old (turning 25 in November), and I’m from Mainz, Germany, where I study to become a secondary school teacher in English and Philosophy. As part of my studies, I’ll be working as a Foreign Language Assistant at Bournemouth School for Girls from early November until the end of April. I’ll be teaching about 12 hours a week.

I’m a clean, tidy, and non-smoking person, and I really value a peaceful and respectful home environment. Since I’ll also be continuing my Master’s degree remotely during my time in England, I’ll be spending quite a bit of time on my laptop, reading, or preparing lessons.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking – mostly because it’s budget-friendly and delicious! If the living situation allows it, I’d be happy to meal prep occasionally, and I’d love to share food if my flatmate is interested. :) I also really enjoy watching films. I’m a bit of a film geek! So if you ever feel like going to the cinema together, I’d love that. At the same time, I also really value privacy and quiet time to recharge and focus on work.

I’ve never been to the UK before, so I’m looking forward to exploring the country a bit. I’ll also be visiting family in Germany now and then, so I may be away for a few days here and there.
Financially, I’m in a secure position. I receive a fixed monthly salary and additional funding from the German state (Auslands-BAföG). My parents are also supporting me and would be happy to act as guarantors if needed.
