PhD student looking for a room in Birmingham

Hi there! My name is David, and I'm about to start my PhD at the University of Birmingham Medical School and Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

I’m looking for a room to rent in a flat in relative proximity to Birmingham University, or a flatmate to look elsewhere with. I’m fine with commuting, so it doesn’t have to be right next to it, but it would ideally be a place with easy access to the Cross-City line.

I’ll officially start on January 5th, so I’m hoping to move in around mid-December. I’m open to paying rent a bit earlier to secure the perfect spot.

I’m super clean, tidy, and considerate when it comes to noise and having friends over.

I’ll be working full-time in the office/labs at least five days a week, but outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, building Lego, exercising, and hanging out with friends. I’d like to have flatmates I could chill with, but I also appreciate some quiet time.

Right now, I’m working from home in Glasgow, but I am willing to travel down to view flats or meet potential flatmates before signing a lease.
