PhD student looking for a room in Birmingham

Hi there! My name is David, and I'm about to start my PhD at the University of Birmingham Medical School.

I’m looking for a room to rent in a flat around central Birmingham! I’m fine with commuting, so it doesn’t have to be right in the city centre, but it would ideally be a place with easy access to the Cross-City line.

I’ll officially start on October 1st, so I’m hoping to move in around mid-September. I’m open to paying rent a bit earlier to secure the perfect spot.

I’d prefer to share the flat with other guys. I’m super clean, tidy, and considerate when it comes to noise and having friends over.

I’ll be working full-time in the office/labs at least five days a week, but outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, building Legos, exercising, and hanging out with friends. I’d like to have flatmates I could chill with, but I also appreciate some quiet time.

While I don’t have any pets, I’m perfectly happy living with someone who does, and I’d even love to help out with pet-sitting whenever I can!

Right now, I’m finishing up my master’s degree in Palaeontology in Edinburgh, but I am willing to travel down to view flats or meet potential flatmates before signing a lease.
