Looking for a home for me and my lurcher, Dotty. We're both housetrained, quite introverted beings.
LQBTQIA+, lefty politics.

I don't WFH, I'm a private carer, but also a writer so I spend a lot of time when at home staring at a laptop/ notebook and sighing!
I love theatre, history, storytelling, exploring places and learning new things. I have a new love of gardening/ growing things, and I love to cook.

Dotty: 7yo Saluki x Greyhound lurcher. Shy until she gets to know you, quiet and lazy at home. She loves a lounge on a bed or sofa, but obviously shared furniture is negotiable depending on your comfort level, but it would be nice to live with someone who actually likes dogs and doesn't just tolerate them.
She's barked maybe 7 times in her entire life, would be a terrible guard dog!

I would like a homey feeling as opposed to feeling like I'm living with complete strangers, and welcome an atmosphere of good, open and honest communication. Some shared socialising - dinners, watching TV, impromptu pub visits/ walks/ theatre trips etc - would be lovely now and again, but also I do enjoy my own space and am obviously respectful of other people who want the same. Mutual respect not militant behaviour.

I am an occasional smoker but very respectful of indoor and shared spaces, and only do it outside and not constantly.
