Looking for a room from September onwards

My name is Emilio Zanatta, I'm a 35 year old astronomer from Brazil and I'm moving to Edinburgh in September for a 3-Year Post-Doctorate position at the Royal Observatory.

I'm looking for a room at walking distance to the Blackford Hill (20-30 min walk would be fine).

I am a very easy-going person, no smoker, and easy to make friends :)

Additional details about me:

I lived for about ten years with my wife and kid (who are not coming with me to Edinburgh). But this can tell you that I know how to maintain a house clean and organised! As well this can tell that I'm not the type of guy that drinks a lot, parties a lot, etc. I like to spend my weekends at home, chilling, playing some games, watching movies, and playing magic the gathering with my friends. And of course, living with a wife and kids made me very responsible with bills too!

This is not to say that I don't like to make friends! I love talking, meeting new and different people and knowing more about different cultures and languages. I love music too! - but I also love my headphones, so don't worry about any loud music!

In the past three years I lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at a shared flat with 3 other mates, and we had an excellent time together. I'm very easy to adapt and understand other people's needs, be it temporary or not. I just need my own personal space and I'm fine with whatever people do.

I'm arriving in Edinburgh at the 8th of September, so I'm looking to find a place before that. So I'm available any time for an online chat - if you want to ask me anything or show me your place.
