Quiet Professional with Friendly Cat Short Rent

Hi there,

I'm Cynthia — a 25-year-old working professional in banking. I've been living in Edinburgh for almost three years with my lovely cat, Maimai. He's a well-behaved, three-year-old indoor cat (neutered, regularly dewormed, and a little shy around strangers at first, but very sweet once he gets to know you!).

I'm currently working while also job hunting for a role in London, so I’m looking for a short-term let (around 3–6 months). My current flat is being sold, so I’ll need to move into a new place by 18 September.

I usually work from home 3–4 days a week, so a room with space for a desk would be ideal. I like to keep my room tidy (weekend clean-up is a ritual!) and I’m respectful of shared spaces — I always make sure to clean up after myself.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time at home with Maimai or at the gym. I don’t smoke or party, only drink occasionally, and I don’t bring guests over. I’m easy-going, enjoy meeting new people, and always aim to maintain a peaceful and considerate living environment.
