Temporary accommodation urgently required

Hi there!
I'm urgently looking for somewhere affordable to live, preferably in the B&NES area.
I have to vacate my current address by Nov 30th, and I have an elderly cat to house too [toothless, so he doesn't catch wildlife!], so ideally looking for somewhere cat-friendly. That said, I may be able to make arrangements to rehome him in the worst-case scenario of not finding somewhere suitable for both of us.
I am currently between jobs, and busy taking courses to upskill and start a new career, so I see this as a temporary arrangement of 3-6 months until work takes me elsewhere.
I'm a carpenter and eco-builder by trade, so can offer work and property maintenance skills if that helps.
