Japanese professional looking for a double room

Hi, I’m Shingo, 42, from Japan. I work as a freelance video editor.

During the week I enjoy relaxing at home, listening to music or watching films. I like to be friendly with housemates, but I also value having my own quiet time.

I’m tidy and organised – and I take care to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable.

My hobbies include music (festivals, gigs, clubs – I’m into BBC Radio 6 type of music), yoga, and enjoying art and dance performances. I also love spending time outdoors, like picnics in the park on sunny days.

Since I mainly work from home, I’m looking for a spacious double room that can fit a good-sized desk.

Ideally I’d like to move in by February, but I can be flexible with the date.
