Looking for a room for me and my cat

Hello! My name is Magpie and I use they/them pronouns. I'm an American about to start school at the University of East Anglia. I'm easygoing and friendly, and I'd love to be able to talk and hang out with my roommates.

I'm looking for a place close to the school (NR4 or NR5) or to a bus stop where the blue line or 4/4a express buses stop so that I can easily get to campus. I'm also partially disabled, so I may not be able to do my share of the chores, but I'll keep my space clean, and I'm willing to cover more of the rent to make up for what I can't do in the shared areas. Or maybe I can pay for a housekeeper - we can discuss. Ideally the room would be on the ground floor, or if it's in a flat rather than a house, then maybe in a building with a lift. It would be nice if the room is already furnished, but I can work with one that isn't.

Since I'm moving from abroad, I know I might need to get a UK guarantor or pay several months of the rent up front. One or the other of those should be possible - I'm not sure which yet.

I have a cat who's very friendly, so if we end up rooming together, you're welcome to pet her. She's a completely indoor cat, and very well behaved. I'd like roommates I can talk with - I'm a bit of a nerd, and love to chat about sci-fi/fantasy, philosophy, and creative hobbies.

My previous arrangements didn't work out, so I'm in a bit of a rush to find a new place as soon as possible. I'll be arriving in Norwich on 12th September, and would be happy to arrange a viewing after that - I'll be staying at a hotel in the meantime.
