Room wanted for 6+ months, probably more

I'm Mike, 43, presently living in Burnage to help care for my Mum. I'm chilled and easy to get on with. I work for NatWest in Manchester, working some days in office, some remotely. Looking for a room in the South Manchester area, ideally with space for a desk (I can provide the desk), and closer to Burnage/Heaton Moor/Didsbury the better.

I have children who live on the other side of Manchester, plus my Mum in Burnage is elderly and requires me to be dropping in a lot, so I'll be in and out the house and not under anyone's feet. However always to chill out, watch TV or go for drink or walk etc.

Looking to move ASAP really as my Mum's house is undergoing imminent renovations. Ideally not looking to live with more than 4 people, and not looking to live with students - bit old for that nowadays I'm afraid! :-)
