Couple looking for homely space

Hello :-)

Our names are Sim (she/her) and Josh (he/him).
We are a couple looking for a house to make our lil home🌿🏡
We’re both Australian and are here in Leeds for a further 12 months!
Josh is a data analyst and Sim works two jobs, one in hospo and a new one at a museum.
We both have right to live and work in the UK as Josh has dual UK/AU Citizenship and Sim is on a 2 year youth mobility scheme visa.
We have found a love for Leeds after being here coming up to a year now🌟

We are looking to move is somewhere between 1 May-1 June.

We’re looking for either a room in a house share or a 1 bed flat. Either way it would be a dream to live in a clean and comfy space we can make a home.
We are both sociable and activity loving people. If in a house share it would be great live somewhere where people are happy being friends or just on friendly vibes! We are also every mindful and respectful of space and as we value it ourselves.
We’re looking for a place around Headingley/Meanwood area, but again very open.
Josh has a car, so if there’s parking on street that would be perfect!
We are both very seasoned in the house share living.
We have both lived in share houses for years both together and seperate, and we work really well together keeping a space clean and cared for, as it’s something we both value.

A bit about Sim (she/her)
Hello:-) my names Simran/Sim. I’ve been lucky enough to be in the UK for a year so far and have taken as many opportunities as possible to go out on a little adventure. I love being out in nature, hiking, and cycling (but only in the warm months). I love art - appreciating it and making it with different mixed medias. I’ve lately been making posters for local events and loving learning bits and pieces of graphic design! I enjoy sewing, going to yoga, reading, film photography, and watching a good movie. I like listening to music and sometimes going out for an event or a pint, especially when there’s a chance of a lil dance. If in a share house I would love to live with people who are down for a chat sometimes, but I respect that everyone has their personal lives and also needs alone time, as do I. I work two part time jobs, and am often out at the place we volunteer at or doing a course, so I’m often out and about, but love a homely space to come back to💗

A bit about Josh (he/him)
Hello! My names Josh. I came to Leeds from Australia to work after completing my masters in sports science, but also for the adventure of it. I love time out hiking in nature and exploring any new place!
I love music and digging for new tunes, getting out for a dance, and seeing gigs. This year I have started volunteering at our local community centres jazz nights and am in the process of learning some sound tech. I love learning about the wonders of the world and spending time bird/animal watching, looking around museums and art galleries, and reading. I am always down for a friendly chat when around!
