Couple looking for room in share house:-)

Hello potential future housemates:-)
Our names are Sim (she/her) and Josh (he/him).
We are a couple looking for a share house to make our lil home🌿🏡
We’re both Australian (but have somehow both been told that neither of us have much of an accent?) and are here in Leeds for 12+ months!
Josh is a sports scientist and Sim works two hospo jobs.
We both have right to live and work in the UK as Josh has dual UK/AU Citizenship and Sim is on a 2 year youth mobility scheme visa.
We’ve been here since the start of this year and have found a love for the city so far🌟

Our current lease ends at the end of September, so we’re looking for something around the end of September/start of October.
We’re in hopes of an affordable room in order to save a bit up for future travelling, but it would be a dream to live somewhere with a comfortable shared living area and a garden! (but we’re not fussy!)
We are both sociable and activity loving people. It would be great live somewhere where people are happy being friends or just on friendly vibes, with potential of occasional house dinners, watching movies together, or going out for a pint or pub quiz!
We’re looking for a place around Hyde Park/Headingly/Chapel Allerton/Meanwood/Kirkstall areas, but again very open.
Josh has a car, so if there’s parking on street that would be perfect!
We are both very seasoned in the house share living.
We have both lived in (separate) share houses for years with friends/housemates.
It so happens that we have both mostlylived with people in their late twenties to early thirties, despite us both being a bit younger, which really worked for each of us. We’d be inclined to look for something similar but more important is getting on and having aligned values 😌
We've been living together since the start of the year in a flat and have been loving it, but are hopeful in finding a house to live in.
We’re both a similar amount of clean and tidy - we clean up after ourselves and do our part, but still like the lived in feel and for everyone to feel at home and comfy🌟


A bit about Sim (she/her)
Hello:-) my names Simran/Sim. I’ve been lucky enough to experience some great weather since being here and have taken as many opportunities as possible to go out on a little adventure and explore, so would love to find a little cozy home to be in for the winter months. I love nature, hiking, and the outdoors, so it would be amazing to have a garden or be near some greenery. I love art - appreciating it and making it with different mixed medias. I enjoy hiking, cycling, sewing/embroidery, going to yoga, reading (as I’ve gotten way more into it this year), and watching a good movie. I like listening to music and sometimes going out for an event or a pint, especially when there’s a chance of a lil dance. Would love to live with people who are down for a chat sometimes, but I respect that everyone has their personal lives and also needs alone time, as do I. I work two part time jobs, one at a bar and one hospo. Next year I am looking to complete my diploma in counselling online, so I’ll be a busy bee, but will still be around as I enjoy my relax time at home as well💗

A bit about Josh (he/him)
Hello! My names Josh. I came to Leeds from Australia to work after completing my masters in sports science, but also for the adventure of it. I love time out hiking in nature and exploring any new place!
I love music and digging for new tunes, getting out for a dance, and seeing gigs. I love learning about the wonders of the world and spending time bird/animal watching, looking around museums and art galleries, and reading. I am always down for a friendly yap when around!
