Description
Hello! I’m a full-time NHS psychological therapist looking for a calm, well-kept space to call home. I work hard supporting others, so I deeply value a peaceful and tidy living environment where I can recharge.
What I’m looking for
✅ Room in a shared house (max 3 people)
Budget: £700/month (bills included)
or
✅ 1-bed flat
Budget: £1200/month
🔹 About Me
- Employed full-time in mental health care & running my own therapy company
- Clean, respectful
- Quiet lifestyle, non-smoker
- Looking to settle long-term after a 6-month trial if possible to get a feel for the vibe and neighbourhood
🔹 What I’m Looking For
- A comfortable one bed flat/ house or room (max share with 2 people) in a friendly, respectful household
- Parking space and secure bike storage
- Space for a small aquarium (I have a couple of pet fish—they’re quiet, low-maintenance, and bring me a sense of home. If needed, I can rehome them.)
Location:
Ideally CB1-5, CB22, CB24
Important requirements
I’m looking for a peaceful home where everyone respects shared space:
Minimal noise between 12:00am and 7:00am (no loud hair dryers, music, singing, etc.). Occasional late nights are fine, but not multiple times a week.
Good hygiene in shared spaces: (no dirty dishes left in kitchen for more than 2 nights please, clean toilet bowls after using it please, remove hair and body fluid after shower please) I’m sorry to be specific, but there are the current unresolved issues.
I treat any place I live in with care and consideration, and I’m looking for a home—not just a room. I’m not in a rush to move — I just need one month’s notice, so I’d like to find somewhere I feel truly comfortable and settled.
If you’re a landlord or housemate who values reliability, cleanliness, and a respectful tenant, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading.
