Researcher from California — will bring playlists

Hi there!

I’m moving to London this October and looking for a sociable, welcoming flatshare for the year.

I’m a working professional coming from the States (California) for a new role in music cognition research. Outside of work, I’m also a musician, a skier (and aspiring snowboarder), and I’m hoping to do a bit of travel during weekends. I’ll likely be working from home 2–3 days a week.

I’d love to live with housemates who enjoy chatting, sharing meals, or hanging out at the pub (I’ll teach you American drinking games!), but who also respect downtime when social batteries run low.

On weekdays I'm usually balancing the gym, yoga, or (painfully) running with the occasional dinner party or games night; I love having friends over but always with an eye to keeping the space comfortable and relaxed for everyone. Sometimes I keep later evenings if I'm out at gigs or seeing friends but I'll always be mindful about keeping the flat peaceful.

I am happy and flexible to function in a communal or more independently run household when it comes to groceries, cooking, and cleaning. I’m a tidy person and want to love the space I live in!
