Friendly Canadian seeking room in SW London

Hi, I’m Amelia! I’m moving from Toronto, Canada to London for a new job as a social housing lawyer in Wimbledon, and I’m looking for a double room in South West London starting late September/early October.

I’m hoping to find flatmates who could also become friends. I’ve shared flats with lots of people during uni and law school, and I really enjoy that sense of community — whether it’s catching up over a glass of wine, watching Netflix, or heading out for a bite to eat. At the same time, I value having some quiet time to recharge. I’m tidy and considerate, and on weekdays I will usually be at the office.

Outside of work, I’m into baking (though not much cooking!), reading, hiking, painting (very much dabbling), and traveling — I’ve been lucky to live in South Africa and Italy over the past year. I studied Classics, so you might catch me nerding out at museums or planning weekend trips around Europe. Mostly, I’d love to live somewhere friendly, where flatmates enjoy spending time together now and then and the flat feels warm and welcoming! ☺️
