Looking For Potential Flatmates

I am a 30-year-old Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology at Acıbadem University in Istanbul. I am moving to London for one year to pursue a second Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at UCL, and I plan to live there from September 2025 to September 2026. I am a non-smoker and do not have any pets.

I have been living with my partner for the past eight years, and I take pride in maintaining a clean and orderly home. I am respectful of shared spaces and value tidiness. I enjoy socialising but also appreciate my personal space. When it comes to communication, I am easy-going and prefer open and honest interaction. My boyfriend will occasionally visit me on a tourist visa for extended stays (e. g., he may stay for a month and then leave for a month). He is also tidy and friendly.

Potential Flatmates:

Ideally, I would prefer students (to avoid council tax, as I am also exempt), but professionals are welcome, and I may contribute to the tax if necessary.

Due to my asthma, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the flat. It would only be acceptable if the flat has a balcony for outdoor smoking.

I am looking for someone who values cleanliness and tidiness as much as I do, as I do not want to worry about hygiene issues at home.

As a queer person, I would like my flatmate to be at least queer-friendly.

My education and living expenses will be fully funded by the UK Government through the Chevening Scholarship, and I also have a UK-based guarantor. My budget is up to £1,500 per month.
