Flat wanted for occasional stays when in London

I live in Morocco but am having to spend more time in London for work - probably around 7-10 days per month. A born and bred Londoner, I spent last 25 years in New York. Work opportunities are calling me back to London, initially only for a week or two per month during the winter. I'm a novelist, with a memoir coming out next May, and unsure where I'm supposed to call home, but clear that I need to spend more time in London... Am interested in renting a room in someone's beautiful home rather than an agency rental. Am a consummate nester, slightly-trained chef, occasional artist, big reader, music-lover, filled with wisdom and pretty easy-going... Looking in NW3 and area, Queens Park, Notting Hill/Bayswater...
