We've lived together in a few house shares over the past 7 years and have a very good understanding of our needs and preferences.

Clean and low stress environment essential.

Introverted but enjoy socialising. Not great at small talk but always want to hear about your day.

Open to building meaningful friendships. Love to cook group meals (Ben's also a chef). We buy Cholula by the litre.

Singing in the shower good, shouting in the kitchen bad.

Warm area lighting good, cold overhead lighting bad.

Candles/ incense good, air fresheners/ strong detergents bad.

We don't have pets but cats and dogs are good.

Queer and neurodivergent good. Right wing politics bad.

We have a projector and do not pay for a TV license.

Value privacy but genuinely enjoy cohabiting.
Willing to put in the work to learn and understand your needs. Value compassion and good communication.

We're both design engineers.

James works away 4 nights/week so you'll mostly see him weekends.

Ben works almost every day and saving for a masters degree.
