Hi, I’m Richard, a 32-year-old gay man and private psychotherapist with clinics in Clapham Junction, Clapham North, and Battersea. I work mostly from home nowadays (around 80% of the time), so I’m looking for a calm, comfortable home to share with just one other person.

About me:

Early riser (usually up at 5am, bed around 9pm)

Clean, considerate, and respectful. I value a peaceful and tidy environment

Enjoy cooking (especially baking cakes, photos available as proof!), though I often eat out or order in.

Into running, gym, and all things wellness (comes with the territory as a therapist!)

Smoker, so ideally looking for a place with a garden or balcony.

Very chilled and independent, but also enjoy the occasional catch-up or shared meal/TV evening

About my cat 🐱:

A few months ago, I found a tiny kitten on the street late at night. He was cold, hungry, and clearly lost. I took him to the vet to check for a chip/owner, but none was found. So I decided to rescue him and give him a safe home. He’s now 9 months old, very well-behaved, affectionate, and fully litter-trained. He’s calm, not destructive, and I’ll, of course, take full responsibility for his food, care, and keeping all shared spaces clean.

What I’m looking for:

A two-person flat/house share with someone respectful and easygoing

Ideally with a professional housemate who doesn’t work from home full-time (so we’re not always in each other’s space)

A quiet, peaceful home with outdoor space (or a balcony?)

Budget up to £1,200 all in (with potential to extend for the right place/person)

Ready to move within the next month, ideally for at least a year
